A while ago, I wrote about growing peppers hydroponically. The peppers are finally ready and it was time to make my hot sauce. I gathered the peppers and tomatoes that were ready at the time, in this case: jalapeno, dragon cayenne, hot banana, serrano, and poblano. I pan-fried them in some oil with garlic and onion then blended them with a neutral vinegar (rice vinegar).
The hot sauce turned out to be really delicious and not too spicy. Claire and I ended up eating it like a sauce and it was gone in a few days.
