I recently became an editor, production assistant, and writer for Litewave Media, a Tampa Bay Video Production company. As one of my first projects for Litewave Media, I co-wrote, acted, costumed, boom-operated, and PA’ed for our Sarasota 48-Hour Film Festival entry. Our prompt for the contest was to recreate Star Wars or Forrest Gump in 10 minutes or less. Being the overachievers that we are, we decided, “why not do both?” Out of this brazen act of film bravado, “StarGump” was born.
